1. Cinnamon bread pudding
What it is: Believe it or not, bread pudding was dreamed up as a solution for using up day-old bread. The slightly dry texture of day-old bread is perfect for soaking up a rich custard mixture, which is then baked to toasty carb-heaven perfection.
Why you must try it: Bread pudding is comfort food at its best, and Bottiglia’s version is a stunning example. Our cinnamon bread pudding is scented with spice, and made even more delicious with toasted hazelnuts, raisins, and salted caramel. If you arrived hungry at brunch, this is the perfect starter to share with the table while you wait for your entrees!
What to drink with it: Bread pudding is excellent on its own, but it’s even better with a beverage accompaniment. We suggest enjoying it with some bubbly, a mimosa, or our 50/50 cocktail, which features Belvedere unfiltered vodka, vermouth bianco, and Scrappy’s orange bitters.

2. Smoked salmon and bagel
What it is: Serving a bagel along with delicious fixings is a traditional east coast (particularly New York) brunch offering. Often, the setup will be buffet-style, with bagels and various spreads and toppings arrayed on a table.
Why you must try it: We assemble a mini version of an east coast style bagel spread with a bagel and all sorts of fixings on a single platter delivered right to you. It includes an everything bagel, whipped cream cheese, sliced tomato, and salmon. The salty and assertive flavors of this brunch dish are perfect for those who like to live boldly. But watch out--it might just have you singing “New York, New York” before you’re finished with the plate!
What to drink with it: The saltiness of the smoked salmon and the assertive flavors of the everything bagel call for a bold drink. Give it a try with our Mulo Pazzo cocktail, featuring Avion silver tequila, lime, basil, and ginger beer.

3. French toast
What it is: What we call French toast in the USA is derived from a French dish called “pain perdu” which translates as “lost bread”. Basically, this was a clever solution to salvaging day-old bread that would otherwise be a “lost” cause by soaking it in a rich eggy custard and pan-frying it to delicious new life. It’s so good that it’s become an international sensation!
Why you must try it: Because as you’ll see, there’s nothing “stale” about this classic brunch dish. Ours is served with blackberries and an addictive bourbon maple syrup. Each slice is positively saturated with flavor, and it’s a little naughty, but overall completely nice.
What to drink with it: French toast always tastes great with a mimosa or a bellini. Or, try it with our Fresca Fizz cocktail, which includes raspberries, along with your choice of Grey Goose vodka or Bombay Sapphire gin, mint, and prosecco.
4. Eggs Benedict
What it is: Eggs Benedict is a classic brunch dish with a funny story. The dish was dreamed up at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York in the 1890s, when a (likely hungover) Wall Street businessman named Lemuel Benedict ordered “some buttered toast, crisp bacon, two poached eggs, and a hooker of Hollandaise sauce” for breakfast. The hotel’s esteemed chef was impressed with the concoction, and decided to put a version of the dish, employing Canadian bacon, on his early and mid-day menus. He named it in honor of the man who inspired it.
Why you must try it: Because our two creative versions are delicious and creative and even better than the original! Our Prosciutto Eggs Benedict (pictured at the top of the post) features poached eggs, prosciutto, and Hollandaise atop English muffin halves; the California Eggs Benedict features roasted tomato, rotisserie chicken, and avocado.
What to drink with it: You’ll love either of our “Bennies” with our Citrus Hiball cocktail, which is made with Jim Beam white label bourbon whiskey, lemon, and soda.

5. Pancakes
What it is: Well, we hardly have to tell you what pancakes are! More substantial than crepe batter but not quite as rich as cake batter, a pancake batter is assembled using simple ingredients. It’s poured into a hot griddle and cooked on either side to golden perfection. However, within that simple formula, infinite variations, toppings, and fillings exist.
Why you must try it: Because at Bottiglia, our pancakes are perfect, and you have options. For those who like to keep it simple, we serve them with cinnamon butter cinnamon butter and bourbon maple syrup; for those who want something a little different, we serve them with blueberry, lemon curd, and bourbon maple syrup.
What to drink with it: We love pairing our pancakes with the Apricot Sour cocktail, which features Basil Hayden’s bourbon whiskey, apricot, lemon, and egg white (you know, for protein).
6. Corned beef hash
What it is: “Hash” is a catchall term to describe a dish made using diced or chopped meat, potatoes, and usually aromatics and spices, which are pan-fried to toasty perfection. The name is derived from the French verb hacher, which means “to chop”.
Why you must try it: Because our version features flavors that you’ll never forget. Our corned beef hash features poached eggs and tomatillo hollandaise for a zingy, rich, and comforting flavor.
What to drink with it: If you love beer, this is a great dish to pair it with. If mixed drinks are more your thing, try our Off to the Races cocktail, featuring Russell’s Reserve 10 year bourbon whiskey, ruby red grapefruit, lemon, and Peychaud’s bitters.
